Lubrizol Additives India receives recognition at Rosefield Energy Tech Awards

Lubrizol Additives India has been honored at the Rosefield Energy Tech Awards, a Mumbai-based conference that acknowledges excellence and innovation in the lubricants and fuels industry in India. Lubrizol India received two prestigious awards for technological advancement and supply chain resilience.

The first award, the Technology Advancement Award, was presented to Lubrizol for its groundbreaking development and advocacy of the Wire Corrosion Test (WCT). This test represents a significant advancement in evaluating how well lubricants protect materials from corrosion in electric vehicle (EV) environments. It surpasses traditional corrosion strip tests, which have been an industry standard for a century, the company shared. The WCT provides data directly applicable to the real-world vehicle environment, particularly as more electronics and electric motors come into contact with lubricants. Lubrizol's patented test method helps the industry evaluate the right fluids for corrosion protection in EV environments, showcasing the efficacy of fluids in vapor phase protection. Lubrizol's dedicated EV technology, EVOGEN, demonstrates superior performance in EV immersion cooling applications, enhancing the efficiency of e-motors and gears while improving safety.

The second accolade, the Supply Chain Excellence Award, recognised Lubrizol's resilience and agility in overcoming challenges, notably during the COVID-19 pandemic. The award acknowledged Lubrizol's efforts and collaborations with suppliers and service providers, its localisation initiatives for supply consistency, a robust logistics strategy ensuring safety and efficiency, and a customer-centric approach committed to operational excellence.

Sanjeev Kaul, Vice President of Lubrizol Additives India, Middle East, Africa, speaking on the recognition said, "These awards are validation of the hard work our teams put in toward innovation and outstanding customer service every day." He emphasised Lubrizol's commitment to remaining at the forefront of future technology, ensuring supply chain strength, and continuous innovation for collective success in the industry.
