Log9 Materials (Log9) has partnered with Gamma Technologies (GT), a global leader and innovator in multi-physics system simulation software, and has selected its GT-SUITE software to aid in the thermal engineering of Log9’s battery cells.

Log9 is a pioneer in developing advanced Li-Ion cells for electric vehicles which are developed and manufactured in India.

The Log9 RapidX series of batteries are designed to efficiently power electric vehicles in India and the global south. Built using patented high-power cell technology, RapidX batteries are extremely durable, with the ability to last longer than conventional batteries without losing their efficiency.

“Our RapidX batteries for EVs are the safest batteries in India. In order to continue to deliver best-in-class technology, we rely on leading solutions, such as those offered by Gamma Technologies, to help engineer our batteries,” stated Pankaj Sharma, Co-founder, Log9 Materials. "We have already been working with
GT and have now expanded our commitment to our partnership with GT. We have found their products and support invaluable for our advanced engineering needs for our EV battery cells." he added.

GT’s simulation software, GT-SUITE, enables system integration, analysis, and optimisation through physics-based libraries. The company also develops the leading electrochemical simulation software, GT-AutoLion, used by battery suppliers and OEMs for cell and pack design.

“We are excited to partner with Log9 in developing advanced cell and pack technologies. Our common vision for urgency in developing sustainable and green solutions instills a great deal of excitement within the collaborating team. The
journey so far has been rewarding and we look forward to the collective success,” said Ramnik Singh, Director, Gamma Technologies India.
