LEVC Renews Supply Chain Partnership with TVS Solutions to Support UK Black Cab Operations

Electric taxi manufacturer LEVC has extended its partnership with TVS Supply Chain Solutions Limited to strengthen support for the company's black cab operations across the United Kingdom. The renewed agreement was announced from LEVC's Ansty, Coventry headquarters on September 17, 2025.

The partnership will focus on improving LEVC's parts supply chain and ordering processes to reduce downtime for taxi drivers and enhance support for retail partners.

TVS Supply Chain Solutions, a global logistics provider listed on Indian stock exchanges, will continue managing inbound logistics of spare parts from suppliers, outbound delivery to official LEVC retail partners, online ordering platform operations, and general stock management for the TX taxi model.

The collaboration comes as LEVC's electric TX taxi has gained significant market share in London and other major UK cities. The vehicle has established itself as the dominant model in London's taxi fleet, with both companies planning additional initiatives for 2026 to improve customer convenience.

LEVC reports that its zero-emission capable taxi has prevented more than 300 million kilograms of carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere since its introduction. The company has sold over 11,000 units across global markets, demonstrating growing adoption of electric taxi technology.

The TX taxi is manufactured at LEVC's Ansty facility, which the company describes as the UK's first production site dedicated to electric vehicle manufacturing. This facility operates with backing from parent company Geely Holding Group, which acquired majority ownership of LEVC in 2013 and has invested over £1 billion in the business.

LEVC traces its history in the taxi industry back more than 100 years, with the black cab becoming a recognized symbol of British transportation. The company has positioned itself as a leader in zero-carbon mobility technology while maintaining its traditional role in the taxi market.
