Kia India Reports 24% Growth in November Sales

Kia India sold 25,489 vehicles in November 2025, marking the company's highest November sales figures since entering the Indian market. The number represents a 24% increase compared to the 20,600 units sold in November 2024.

The company's domestic sales for the year reached 261,627 units through November, up from 236,043 units during the same period last year. The November figures followed the company's record October 2025 sales.

The Kia Sonet compact SUV recorded growth exceeding 30% compared to November 2024, making it the primary contributor to the company's sales increase. Recent changes to India's Goods and Services Tax (GST) rates have contributed to increased demand for the model.

Other vehicles in the portfolio, including the Seltos, Syros, Carens Clavis, and Carens Clavis EV, also registered sales during the month. Kia India exported 3,004 units in November 2025. Total exports for the year reached 25,279 units.

Atul Sood, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Kia India, attributed the results to consumer demand during the festive period and supportive government policies. He noted that infrastructure developments in the mobility sector have affected purchasing decisions across market segments.

Kia India established its manufacturing facility in Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh, following a 2017 agreement with the state government. Production began in August 2019, with the plant's annual capacity at 300,000 units.

The company has dispatched approximately 1.5 million vehicles from the facility, consisting of over 1.2 million domestic sales and more than 367,000 exports. Kia India currently operates 819 sales and service locations across 370 cities in India.

The company's product lineup in India includes nine models: Seltos, Syros, Sonet, Carens, Carnival, EV6, EV9, Carens Clavis, and Carens Clavis EV. More than 495,000 Kia vehicles with connectivity features are currently on Indian roads.
