Kia India Reports July Wholesale of 28,200 Units, Up 27.4% YoY

Kia India recorded its highest-ever wholesale dispatches for the month of July since entering the Indian market, with volumes rising 27.4% year-on-year to 28,200 units in July 2026, compared with 22,135 units in the corresponding month last year.

The automaker also reported cumulative wholesale dispatches of 191,949 units during the January-July 2026 period, marking a 16.8% increase over the 164,274 units dispatched during the same period in 2025.

According to the company, the growth was supported by continued demand for the Seltos and Sonet, alongside the Carens Clavis, Carens Clavis EV and the MY26 Syros. The Seltos remained Kia's highest-volume model, averaging more than 10,000 units a month since the beginning of the year, while the Seltos and Sonet registered year-to-date growth of 75.7% and 34.5%, respectively.

"Our best-ever July wholesale performance reflects the continued trust of our customers and the strong acceptance of Kia's diverse product portfolio. Building on our record H1 performance, we have maintained healthy momentum across key segments," said Atul Sood, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Kia India.

The company said it has also received an encouraging initial response to the recently launched Syros EV, which is positioned as its second made-in-India mass-market electric SUV. Kia added that the model has recorded strong initial bookings following its launch.

Looking ahead, Kia said it will continue expanding both its internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) portfolio, while strengthening its sales, service and certified pre-owned network across the country.
