Kia Expands Aftersales Network With 500th Service Workshop in India

Kia India inaugurated its 500th service workshop in Chandkheda, Ahmedabad, on April 24, 2026. The new facility, operated by West Coast Kia, brings the automaker's national aftersales network to a total of 800 service touchpoints across 391 cities.

The Ahmedabad workshop ranks among the company's largest in the country, covering a total area of 76,069 square feet. The site is equipped with 57 service bays, which includes eight bays dedicated to washing and mopping, alongside 100 parking spaces. Staffed by 90 trained professionals, the facility has the capacity to service up to 40,000 vehicles annually.

The service center includes a dedicated zone for premium exterior care and incorporates electric vehicle infrastructure, featuring a 90 kW DC fast charger capable of supporting dual vehicle charging. The building was developed under the automaker's green workshop initiative and integrates a 145 kW solar power generation system.

Gwanggu Lee, Managing Director and CEO of Kia India, stated that the ongoing network expansion is intended to deliver a sustainable and digitally enabled ecosystem for the brand's customer base of over 1.5 million. The company currently operates 124 green workshops nationwide, which collectively generate 8.90 MW of solar energy.
