Kawasaki has launched the 2027 Z1100 in India at Rs 12.79 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), retaining the same price as the previous model year. Bookings are open, with deliveries commencing today at dealerships across the country.

The motorcycle continues with its 1,099cc inline-four engine, producing 136hp and 113Nm, and is available in a single Ebony/Metallic Carbon Grey colour scheme.

Engine and Performance

The Kawasaki Z1100 remains mechanically identical to the 2026 model, retaining its liquid-cooled, 1,099cc inline-four engine that produces 136hp and 113Nm. The same engine is also used in the updated Kawasaki Versys 1100, although it produces 135hp and 112Nm in the adventure tourer.

The Z1100 uses a tubular diamond chassis suspended by a 41mm upside-down fork with 120mm of travel and a back-linkage monoshock offering 136mm of travel.

The front fork gets compression and rebound adjustability, while the rear suspension offers preload and rebound adjustments. Braking duties are handled by dual 310mm Brembo discs at the front and a 260mm single disc at the rear.

The motorcycle continues with its existing rider-assistance and connectivity features, including a 5-inch TFT display, a bi-directional quickshifter, three-level corner-sensitive traction control, dual-channel ABS, cruise control and smartphone connectivity.

A 17-litre fuel tank provides touring potential, while the motorcycle has a kerb weight of 220kg.

Price and Rivals

At Rs 12.79 lakh, the Kawasaki Z1100 competes with the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP, priced at Rs 13.29 lakh. Kawasaki’s smaller Z900 is positioned below it at Rs 9.99 lakh.

With no mechanical or equipment changes for 2027, the Z1100 continues as Kawasaki’s litre-class super-naked offering at the same price.
