JSW MG Motor India reported an overall wholesale volume of 7,568 units for June 2026, marking a 30 percent year-on-year expansion compared to the identical month last year.
The automaker’s growth curve was backed almost entirely by its battery-powered vehicle lineup, with New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) contributing over 75 percent of the total wholesale volume during the month. This major concentration of electric vehicle dispatches was further accelerated by sharp changes in macro consumer behavior, including rising domestic fuel prices, the lower long-term running costs of electric mobility, and worsening geopolitical uncertainties in West Asia driving buyers away from standard fossil fuels.
Anurag Mehrotra, Managing Director of JSW MG Motor India, noted that the corporate sales framework has expanded to include initial customer deliveries of the recently introduced MG Majestor, positioning the company as an early mover in the premium D+ sports utility vehicle segment.
