The automaker dispatched 8,158 units in July 2026, marking its second consecutive record wholesale month, with new energy vehicles accounting for over 80% of sales.
JSW MG Motor India reported its highest-ever monthly wholesale sales for the second consecutive month in July 2026, dispatching 8,158 units, a 22% year-on-year increase over the corresponding month last year. The company also said retail sales remained strong during the month.
The company said its new energy vehicle (NEV) portfolio recorded its highest-ever monthly wholesale volumes, contributing more than 80% of total sales in July. According to the automaker, the performance reflects continued demand for its electric vehicle lineup alongside its internal combustion engine models.
July marks the second straight month in which JSW MG Motor India has achieved a record wholesale performance, indicating sustained momentum in dispatches as the company continues to expand its product portfolio.
Commenting on the performance, Anurag Mehrotra, Managing Director, JSW MG Motor India, said, "Our performance in July is a reflection of the growing confidence that customers have placed in our brand. This strong performance, coupled with another month of robust retail sales, demonstrates the strength of our diverse portfolio and our ability to meet evolving customer aspirations. As we build on this momentum, we remain focused on expanding our portfolio, strengthening the customer experience, and introducing innovative ownership solutions such as MG ADAPT, while accelerating the adoption of sustainable mobility in India."
The company attributed the July performance to demand across its portfolio of internal combustion engine and new energy vehicles, with NEVs continuing to account for the majority of wholesale volumes.
