JLR Expands Retail Footprint in India with New Luxury Showrooms, Including Hyderabad Boutique

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) India has launched a new boutique showroom in Hyderabad, dedicated exclusively to the Range Rover and Defender vehicle lines. Located on Road No. 12 in Banjara Hills, the facility marks a key development in JLR’s ongoing expansion and retail strategy in the Indian market.

The new outlet, operated in partnership with M/s Pride Motors, led by Mr. Suresh Reddy, is designed to offer a premium retail experience, focusing on modern luxury and brand-specific engagement. It is part of JLR’s broader “House of Brands” initiative, which aims to strengthen the individual identities of its marques through tailored customer experiences.

Spanning a curated space, the showroom displays the latest models from the Range Rover and Defender lineups, allowing customers to explore vehicle configurations, personalization options, and branded lifestyle products. The facility features a contemporary design and is supported by trained staff offering a consultative approach to vehicle selection and purchase.

This launch follows JLR’s wider rollout of upgraded luxury retail facilities across India. The company currently operates 27 sales and service outlets in 22 cities nationwide, reflecting its commitment to expanding accessibility and enhancing customer service in the Indian market.

Rajan Amba, Managing Director of JLR India, stated, “The opening of this dedicated showroom in Hyderabad aligns with our strategy to offer distinct brand experiences for Range Rover and Defender. The city’s growing affinity for premium automotive offerings makes it a strategic location for this boutique concept.”

JLR’s global “Reimagine” strategy emphasizes sustainable luxury, with goals to achieve carbon net zero across its supply chain, products, and operations by 2039. The company plans to launch a fully electric model from each of its brands before the end of the decade, with Jaguar transitioning to an all-electric marque.

JLR maintains design, engineering, and manufacturing operations in the UK, along with production facilities in China (through a joint venture), Slovakia, India, and Brazil. It also operates seven global technology hubs. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Motors Limited, JLR continues to invest in market-specific strategies to support its international growth.

The Hyderabad boutique is the latest step in JLR’s efforts to refine its retail footprint and elevate customer engagement in India’s evolving luxury automotive segment.
