JK Tyre partners with Vertelo to provide connected mobility solutions for electric fleets

JK Tyre & Industries has entered into a long-term partnership with Vertelo, an electric mobility solutions provider, to deliver its connected mobility solutions through a cloud-based monitoring system. The collaboration aims to facilitate fleet electrification by integrating JK Tyre’s EV tyres with Vertelo’s fleet services.
As part of the agreement, JK Tyre will supply its new generation EV tyres, specifically the 255/70R22.5 JUXe model, equipped with connected Treel sensors that enable real-time monitoring. The service will initially be rolled out at Vertelo depots across India, starting in Mumbai, with JK Tyre providing 24/7 support through a dedicated team for depot and enroute assistance.
Commenting on the partnership, Srinivasu Allaphan, Director of Sales & Marketing at JK Tyre, highlighted the company's commitment to advancing sustainable mobility solutions in India’s electric vehicle market. "This partnership reaffirms JK Tyre’s role in promoting smart, sustainable mobility in the commercial EV tyre segment," Allaphan said.
Sanjeev Sharma, Associate Vice President of Fleet Management & Mobility Solutions at JK Tyre, emphasised the importance of the collaboration in enhancing fleet efficiency and tyre performance through technology-driven solutions. He added that the partnership aims to promote sustainable transport systems across India.
Vertelo CEO, Sandeep Gambhir, expressed optimism about the partnership, noting that it aligns with the company’s mission to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in India. He stated that the collaboration with JK Tyre would help improve tyre maintenance services and overall fleet efficiency for Vertelo’s electric vehicle operations.
