Jitendra EV unveils Yunik electric scooter starting at Rs 1.2 lakh

The Yunik offers a 118 km range, modern safety features, and smart connectivity through the JENi app. Priced at ₹1,24,083, it caters to diverse riders, with two additional variants planned for October 2025.

Jitendra EV unveils Yunik electric scooter starting at Rs 1.2 lakh

The Yunik features the HyperGear Powertrain, engineered for efficiency, and Spin Switch Riding Modes, which offer a blend of traditional and modern functionality. With a ground clearance of 180 mm and a long, ergonomically designed seat, the scooter ensures comfort for both urban commutes and longer journeys.  

Powered by a 3.8 kW LMFP detachable battery, the Yunik provides a range of 118 km per charge and a top speed of 75 km/h. The battery includes Bluetooth connectivity with a thermal propagation alert for enhanced safety. Integration with the JENi application offers smart connectivity and intuitive controls for an improved riding experience.  

The scooter’s design features an illuminated logo, adding a distinctive visual element. It comes with a three-year or 50,000 km warranty on both the vehicle and battery, offering durability and assurance. Available in five colors—Meadow Green, Dusk Blue, Forest White, Volcano Red, and Eclipse Black—the Yunik combines functionality with style.  

Jitendra EV has also introduced accessories to enhance the Yunik experience. These include the Yunikrown, a Bluetooth-enabled helmet for calls, music, and navigation; the Yuniklamp, a secure helmet storage solution; the Yunikase, a detachable utility bag; and the Yunikart Booster, designed to assist with vehicle movement in the event of a puncture.  

Safety features include dual disc brakes, 12-inch tubeless tires with alloy wheels, and side stand sensors. Additional conveniences include keyless entry, a USB charging port, and a smart LED digital cluster with advanced displays. The lighting system features ChromeArc LED headlamps, Radiant Hex LED tail lamps, and EagleVision LED blinkers for better visibility.  

Speaking at the launch, Samkit Shah, Co-Founder of Jitendra EV, highlighted the Yunik as a step forward in sustainable mobility, combining advanced technology, safety, and rider comfort.  

Priced at ₹1,24,083 (ex-showroom), deliveries for the Yunik will begin on January 15, 2025. The scooter aims to appeal to a diverse audience, including youth, professionals, families, and government employees.  

Jitendra EV also announced plans to expand the Yunik series with two additional variants, Yunik Lite and Yunik Pro, scheduled for launch in October 2025. These variants will feature upgrades like TFT displays and prices starting from ₹92,000, balancing innovation with affordability.
