JCBL South marks a significant milestone with the delivery of its 100th trailer to BEML Limited, emphasizing its focus on quality manufacturing, client-specific solutions, and sustainable practices at its Chennai-based facility.
JCBL Limited (South), formerly known as JML, has announced the delivery of its 100th trailer, marking a milestone in the company’s operations. The 100th trailer was delivered to BEML Limited, a Miniratna Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
JCBL South designs trailers customized to meet client specifications while adhering to stringent quality standards. The company’s manufacturing facility incorporates a layout based on a single-piece flow concept, improving productivity and operational efficiency. Trailers are developed using advanced software tools and lean manufacturing principles. The production process involves the use of state-of-the-art CNC machines, specialized tooling, and in-house-manufactured axles to ensure precision.
Commenting on the milestone, Sandip Chakroborty, Managing Director of JCBL Limited, stated, “This achievement reflects the collaborative efforts of our team and stakeholders, emphasizing quality and timely delivery.”

The company integrates customer feedback into its processes and incorporates sustainability practices, including solar power generation (1,300 KW/day), advanced CNC machining, and lean manufacturing techniques.
JCBL Marrel Tippers Limited (JML) provides customized mobility solutions designed to meet the needs of various industries in India. The company operates a manufacturing facility in Oragadam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, producing tippers, trailers, and petroleum tankers. It also develops specialized solutions for defense applications, ensuring reliability and performance across its product range.
