JCB India unveiled 10 new construction equipment products at bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026 in Greater Noida on 15 September, with the company's backhoe loader range forming the centrepiece of its 2,000 sq.m pavilion at India Expo Centre.
The 10 launches were part of a broader showcase of 21 machines spanning excavators, wheel loaders, access platforms, agricultural equipment and gensets. All products are designed, engineered and manufactured at JCB India's six factories in India.
The three new backhoe loader models — the 3DX, 3DX Plus and 3DX Super — are powered by JCB's 430 engine producing 440 Nm of torque. The company states fuel efficiency across its backhoe loader range has improved by 21% over the past few years. The 3DX is positioned for excavation-focused applications. The 3DX Plus adds higher shovel capacity and payload, while the 3DX Super comes with standard four-wheel drive, a six-in-1 shovel and deeper digging capability. The Plus and Super variants feature redesigned cab interiors with a new rotary dial, updated displays, revised seat and mobile charging point.
Among the other new launches, the JCB 150 FM excavator delivers an 8% improvement in fuel efficiency alongside a 0.75 cu.m bucket and in-cab fuel monitoring. The JCB 225 XT features a wider upper frame, reinforced side doors and a new 1.1 cu.m bucket the company says delivers 5% higher productivity per dig cycle. The JCB 18Z mini excavator uses a zero-tail-swing design with a retractable undercarriage, intended for operation in confined spaces.
The AGRIMAX 4WD tractor, also new, offers clutch-free operation and synchro shuttle transmission. The G160QI CPCB IV genset is designed for applications requiring sustained power output; its Intelli Sync technology allows two 160 kVA units to synchronise and deliver a combined 320 kVA, with remote monitoring available via JCB LiveLink 4.0. The 475-5 wheel loader is powered by a 320 HP Cummins engine with a ZF Ergo II transmission and load-sensing hydraulics.
Rounding out the new launches is the A60E access platform, which is manufactured in India and exported internationally. The United States is the largest export market for JCB India's access platform range.
JCB's LiveLink platform — also featured at the pavilion — provides real-time machine monitoring, remote diagnostics and predictive maintenance. The company also showcased Parts Online, a digital parts ordering system, and a Training Simulator for operator training.
Beyond the 10 new products, the pavilion includes a selection of machines from JCB India's existing range. These include the JCB 81 Eco+ excavator with a 15% improvement in fuel efficiency; the NXT 215 Fuel Master excavator, which uses IntelliFlow hydraulics to achieve 14% higher fuel efficiency and a Power Boost function offering up to 9% higher hydraulic force; and the 345LC HD excavator, powered by a 221 HP JCB ecoMAX engine. Also on display is the 520X LC, JCB India's first 50-tonne class excavator, rated at 400 HP with a bucket capacity of up to 3.4 cu.m. Soil compactors, telehandlers, skid steer loaders and additional mini excavators complete the display.
JCB India operates six manufacturing facilities in India and exports to more than 135 countries. The company's dealer network spans more than 65 dealers and over 700 outlets, employing close to 8,000 personnel. Its Jaipur and Vadodara plants report 34% and 52% women on the shopfloor respectively, figures the company has highlighted as part of its manufacturing workforce profile.
bauma CONEXPO INDIA is a trade fair for construction, building material and mining machinery held in India. The 2026 edition is taking place at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida.
