JAKSON Group Adds Five Energy Products Across Power, Storage, Solar, and Mobility

JAKSON Group, an Indian energy and infrastructure company reporting FY26 revenue of over INR 9,000 crore, has announced five additions to its product portfolio: the Genset Xtra, a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), a Solar Kit, a Mobile Light Tower (MLT), and electric three-wheelers developed through a partnership with a Bengaluru-based firm.

The expansion covers power generation, energy storage, rooftop solar, and electric mobility — areas the company has identified as priorities in its long-term strategy. Founded in 1947 as a diesel generator manufacturer, JAKSON has diversified over the decades into renewable energy, EPC services, and energy storage.

Product Overview

The Genset Xtra is a compact diesel generator targeting small commercial and residential users such as shops, bungalows, and ATM booths. The BESS comes in four variants — 3 kVA, 5 kVA, 10 kVA, and 15 kVA — for home and commercial backup power, with a zero-maintenance design.

The Solar Kit is a rooftop package compliant with MNRE and IS standards, bundling PV modules, an inverter, combiner boxes, connectors, a lightning arrestor, and an earthing kit. The Mobile Light Tower is built for infrastructure projects, defence, construction, disaster relief, and outdoor events, with a stated runtime of 40–50 hours and a 50,000-hour operational lifespan.

The electric three-wheeler marks JAKSON's first entry into electric mobility. The group did not disclose commercial launch timelines or pricing for the new products.

Chairman Sameer Gupta said the group's current scale carries both the capacity and the responsibility to deliver future-ready energy solutions for customers in India and international markets. Vice Chairman Sundeep Gupta noted that the market is seeking energy options that are efficient and dependable. CEO of Distributed Energy Business Sudhanshu Pokhriyal described the launch as a milestone in combining reliability with sustainability.

The announcement comes as India continues to expand renewable energy capacity and accelerate electric vehicle adoption. JAKSON operates six manufacturing facilities, over 30 domestic sales offices, and 12 international offices, serving more than 100,000 customers through a dealer and channel partner network.
