Hyundai plans to introduce 10 fast chargers by the first half of CY23  

The company installed its first two charging stations with one unit of DC 150 kW Ultra-Fast Charger and one unit of DC 60 kW High-Speed Chargers in a partnership with Charge Zone.

Hyundai plans to introduce 10 fast chargers by the first half of CY23  

Hyundai Motors India (HMIL) has installed the first two Ultra-Fast Public Charging stations across Hyderabad- Vijayawada (Narketpalle) and Delhi- Chandigarh (Kurukshetra) highways even as it has envisaged setting up 10 Ultra-Fast Public Chargers on the Hyderabad- Vijayawada, Delhi-Chandigarh, Delhi-Jaipur, Mumbai-Pune, Bengaluru- Chennai highway belt.

Jae Wan Ryu, Executive Director, Corporate Planning, Hyundai Motor India sharing the development said "Our charging station seeding plan will catalyze our initiative of building a sustainable ecosystem for India’s transition towards electric mobility, and continue taking our customers ‘Beyond Mobility’.’’

Hyundai plans to open its twin charging stations for EV customers from 1st Feb’2023. The company has said it will further expand to install such charging stations across other highways and cities to ensure increased peace of mind for EV customers while driving electric vehicle adoption in India in solidarity with the Indian Government’s strong focus on Electrification.
