Hyundai Motor India Posts Record Monthly Sales of 75,360 Units in July

Strong domestic demand and export growth helped Hyundai Motor India achieve its highest-ever monthly sales, with exports crossing 21,000 units for the first time in over 100 months.

Hyundai Motor India Posts Record Monthly Sales of 75,360 Units in July

Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) reported its highest-ever monthly sales in July 2026, dispatching a combined 75,360 units across domestic and export markets, up 25.4% year on year. The performance was supported by record July domestic sales and the company's strongest export volumes in more than 100 months.

Domestic sales stood at 54,210 units during the month, representing a 23.3% year-on-year increase and marking Hyundai's highest-ever July domestic sales. Exports grew 31.4% to 21,150 units, the company's highest monthly export tally in over eight years.

Among individual models, the Hyundai Creta recorded its highest monthly sales of calendar year 2026 at 18,088 units, while the i20 also posted its best monthly performance this year with sales of 6,738 units.

Commenting on the performance, Tarun Garg, Managing Director and CEO, Hyundai Motor India, said, "Achieving 75,360 total sales (domestic + exports; up 25.4% YoY), our highest-ever monthly volume since inception, underscores the immense trust consumers place in brand Hyundai. Furthermore, delivering 21,150 export units (up 31.4% YoY), our highest in more than 100 months, reinforces our relentless commitment to Make-in-India, Made-for-the-World."
