Hyundai Motor India has introduced a remote immobiliser feature on the Hyundai Venue and Venue N Line, allowing owners to prevent a parked vehicle from being restarted through the Hyundai Bluelink app. The feature is available on ccNC-equipped HX10 and N10 variants, respectively.
The feature is being delivered through a Controller Over-the-Air (C-OTA) update, meaning eligible vehicles do not require a workshop visit. All eligible Venue and Venue N Line variants sold since November 2025 will receive the update. The feature is also being introduced as standard on ccNC-equipped Venue HX10 and Venue N Line N10 variants from September 2026.
How Hyundai Bluelink Remote Immobiliser Works
Owners can activate the immobiliser through the Bluelink app while the vehicle is parked. Once activated, the vehicle cannot be restarted. In a suspected theft situation, the immobiliser can also be activated remotely if it was not switched on while parking. Once the vehicle is switched off, it cannot be restarted without authorisation.
The system also provides live vehicle location tracking when the vehicle is connected to the network, which can assist owners and law enforcement authorities in locating the vehicle. Hyundai says the immobiliser does not stop or switch off a vehicle while it is moving.
The company says the feature is intended to address vehicle theft methods including key cloning. Its operation and live location tracking are subject to conditions including untampered wiring, uninterrupted vehicle power supply and network connectivity.
Venue Remote Immobiliser Delivered Via C-OTA Update
Hyundai has used the Software-Defined Vehicle architecture of the Venue and Venue N Line to deploy the feature remotely. Compatible ccNC-equipped variants can receive C-OTA updates for up to 19 vehicle controllers, allowing software features and updates to be delivered without a workshop visit.
Hyundai says the remote immobiliser will be introduced in phases across select existing Bluelink-equipped models and will be offered as standard on upcoming connected Hyundai vehicles.

Hyundai Bluelink is available across 11 of the company's 15-model product lineup and offers more than 70 connected features, including SOS and emergency assistance, auto-crash notification, remote vehicle status, Hyundai Pay, Digital Key, Digital Passport and Find My Car.
