Hyundai i20 Gets Price Revision, Now Starts at ₹5.99 Lakh
Automaker reduces entry price for premium hatchback while introducing enhanced value propositions across select variants.
Hyundai Motor India Limited has announced revised pricing for select variants of its i20 hatchback, with the entry-level Era variant now available at ₹5.99 lakh (ex-showroom), down from its previous price point.
The company made the announcement on February 5, 2026, positioning the pricing adjustment as part of efforts to make the model more accessible to buyers while maintaining its feature set.
The Era variant, which serves as the new entry point to the i20 range, comes equipped with six airbags, a fully digital instrument cluster, front and rear skid plates, body-colored ORVMs and door handles, a Type-C USB charger, and telescopic steering adjustment.
Hyundai has also revised pricing for two other variants. The Magna Executive is now available at ₹6.74 lakh, while the Magna variant is priced at ₹6.99 lakh.
The Magna Executive variant includes features such as a digital cluster, skid plates, shark fin antenna, Highline Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), automatic headlamps, telescopic steering, keyless entry, electrically adjustable ORVM, and steering-mounted audio and Bluetooth controls.
The Magna variant adds an electric sunroof, LED daytime running lights, rear AC vents, and a front armrest with storage to the package.
Additionally, the company is offering a 25.55 cm (10.1-inch) touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, along with a rear camera, as a Dealer Installed Option priced at ₹14,999. This option comes with a three-year warranty.
The i20 continues to be covered by Hyundai's standard three-year/1,00,000 km warranty.
National Sales Head Sunil Moolchandani stated that the pricing reflects the company's commitment to offering "value-driven mobility solutions" while maintaining quality and innovation standards.
The i20 has been available in the Indian market for 15 years and has accumulated over 1.47 million customers during this period.
All prices mentioned are ex-showroom and do not include additional costs such as insurance, registration, and local taxes.
