Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) conducted a Road Safety Convention in Delhi, focusing on educating school principals and teachers about road safety. Over 100 participants from government schools attended, highlighting HMSI's commitment to enhancing road safety awareness.
The convention featured key figures such as Lakshay Singhal, Deputy Commissioner of South-West Delhi, and other notable officials alongside HMSI representatives including Vinay Dhingra and Katsuyuki Ozawa. The event aimed to address the need for improved road safety education and introduced age-specific modules to be included in school curriculums.
HMSI’s road safety initiatives are part of a broader strategy aligned with the company's global vision to achieve zero traffic collision fatalities by 2050. The company has already held six conventions across India, reaching over 700 schools and more than 230,000 students. Additionally, HMSI operates Traffic Training Parks and Safety Driving Education Centers to further promote road safety education.
