Honda launches 2025 Unicorn at Rs 1.19 lakh with OBD2B engine
The updated commuter motorcycle features an OBD2B-compliant 162.71cc engine, an all-LED headlamp, digital console, and USB Type-C port.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced the 2025 Unicorn, equipped with an updated OBD2B-compliant engine and advanced features to cater to modern riders. Priced at ₹1,19,481 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new Unicorn is available at HMSI dealerships across India.
The 2025 Honda Unicorn retains its reputation as a durable and reliable commuter motorcycle while incorporating modern features. It comes with a new all-LED headlamp design with chrome accents and a fully digital instrument console displaying gear position, service reminders, and an Eco indicator. Additionally, the model includes a USB Type-C charging port for added convenience.
The Unicorn is powered by a 162.71cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine, now compliant with OBD2B regulations. It produces 9.7 kW of power at 7,500 RPM and 14.58 Nm of torque at 5,250 RPM, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle continues to feature its signature minimalist design, appreciated by a wide range of riders. The 2025 Unicorn is available in three colors: Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, and Radiant Red Metallic.
Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President, and CEO of HMSI, highlighted the Unicorn’s longstanding reputation in the premium commuter segment and its consistent trust among customers. He expressed confidence that the new features and updates would further strengthen its appeal.
Yogesh Mathur, Director of Sales and Marketing at HMSI, emphasised the balance of practicality and technology in the updated Unicorn. He stated that the advancements in the 2025 model reaffirm the brand’s focus on delivering value to customers.
