Honda Elevate Facelift India Debut Set For Early October 2026

Honda is set to unveil the Elevate facelift in India in early October 2026, according to dealer sources. The mid-size SUV, which was introduced in India in June 2023, is expected to receive updates to its exterior, interior and equipment.

The facelift is likely to follow an evolutionary approach, with styling revisions and additional features rather than a major redesign. The existing petrol powertrain is also expected to continue with the updated SUV.

Honda Elevate Facelift Expected Exterior Changes

The Honda Elevate facelift is expected to get styling changes similar in approach to those introduced on the recently updated City. These could include revised LED lighting elements, a redesigned grille, updated bumpers and new 17-inch alloy wheels.

The changes are expected to remain relatively subtle, with the overall design of the SUV likely to be retained.

Honda Elevate Facelift Interior And Features

Inside, Honda is expected to introduce a new cabin theme and revised upholstery, while the basic dashboard layout is likely to remain unchanged.

The more significant update could be to the equipment list. The current Elevate does not offer features such as ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, a powered co-driver’s seat, rear sunblinds and a panoramic sunroof, all of which are available on several competing SUVs.

Honda Elevate Facelift Engine And Gearbox

The facelifted Elevate is expected to retain the existing 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. It currently produces 121hp and 145Nm and is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-step CVT automatic.

The Elevate is based on the City’s platform, which also leaves open the possibility of Honda introducing the sedan’s 1.5-litre strong-hybrid powertrain. In the City, this system produces a combined 126hp and 253Nm.

Honda has not confirmed whether the strong-hybrid powertrain will be introduced in the Elevate as part of this update.

Honda Elevate Facelift Price And Rivals

The facelifted Elevate is expected to be priced at a premium over the current SUV. The existing model is priced between Rs 11.81 lakh and Rs 16.36 lakh (ex-showroom).

The updated Elevate will continue to compete in the mid-size SUV segment against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, Toyota Hyryder, Maruti Suzuki Victoris and Grand Vitara.
