Himadri Speciality Chemical to Set Up Wholly Owned Subsidiary in UAE; Appoints New KMP

Board of Directors approves international expansion plan and key management appointment at July 15 meeting.

Himadri Speciality Chemical Ltd. (HSCL), a leading Indian speciality chemicals manufacturer, has announced the incorporation of a wholly owned subsidiary in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), to support its global expansion strategy. The decision was taken during the Board of Directors meeting held earlier today.

The proposed subsidiary, tentatively named “Alliance Worldwide LLC” (subject to final approval by local regulatory authorities), aims to strengthen HSCL’s overseas business operations. The company intends to share further details about the development in line with regulatory disclosure norms once the subsidiary is officially incorporated.

In the same meeting, the Board also designated Soumyodeep Bhattacharya, currently serving as Executive Vice President (CTD), as a Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) in accordance with Section 2(51) of the Companies Act, 2013, and as part of Senior Management as per SEBI Listing Regulations.

Bhattacharya, a production engineer by training, brings over 30 years of experience in the engineering, energy, and specialty chemical industries. He previously held leadership roles at BP/Castrol, including in renewable energy, and led Zavenir Daubert India prior to joining HSCL.
