Hexagon partners with SimYog to expand EMI/EMC simulation solutions in India

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence India Pvt. Ltd. has announced a business partnership with SimYog Technology Pvt. Ltd., a Bangalore-based computational software company. This collaboration aims to introduce SimYog’s Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) simulation software to customers in India.

EMI and EMC are key factors contributing to compliance failures for electronic and electrical hardware during the verification stage, often resulting in project delays, additional costs, and increased Bill-of-Materials (BoM) due to late-stage fixes.

SimYog's flagship product, Compliance-scope (CompScope), is a “Virtual EMI/EMC laboratory” designed to predicted Radiated Emissions (RE), Conducted Emissions (CE), Radiated Immunity (RI), and Conducted Immunity (CI) compliance tests. This tool allows users to assess EMC performance during the early design phase, before a prototype is created, enabling them to address design issues and reduce time-to-market and BoM costs. SimYog also offers SEM-Scope, an EMI/EMC simulation tool for integration-level testing, and MAX-Scope, a general-purpose 3D full-wave EM solver.

Through this partnership, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence will leverage its extensive sales network to help SimYog expand its presence in India and create a marketing ecosystem. This collaboration aims to assist customers in achieving compliance with EMI/EMC standards and mitigate associated risks.

Sridhar Dharmarajan, Executive Vice President & Managing Director of Hexagon, emphasized SimYog's innovative products and its successful use at leading semiconductor, Tier-1, OEM, and defense companies. He expressed confidence in the partnership’s potential to benefit both Hexagon and its customers.

Dipanjan Gope, CEO of SimYog, highlighted that Hexagon's reputation and industry expertise align well with SimYog’s goal to provide cutting-edge solutions for hardware design in the electronics and automotive sectors. He expressed optimism about the partnership’s potential to reach new customers.
