Hero MotoCorp's CTO Arun Jaura steps down, Vikram Kasbekar to lead R&D

Hero MotoCorp said in an exchange notification that Dr. Arun Jaura has stepped down from the position of Chief Technology Officer after roughly two and a half years with the company, to pursue personal endeavours. 

Vikram Kasbekar, in addition to his existing role as Head of Global Product Planning, will assume the responsibility of leading the R&D function. 

During Jaura's tenure, the company has witnessed the successful launch of several products, significantly enhancing our product offerings to customers in both the Indian and global markets.

"I truly value my experience in Hero and I am grateful for the opportunities I have had to contribute to its success," Jaura noted in his resignation letter. 

Kasbekar has extensive experience across R&D, product planning, and manufacturing operations. Vikram previously led this function and oversaw the smooth and successful transition from BS4 to BS6 emission standards.
