Hero MotoCorp posted its highest ever quarterly revenue and profit after tax for the second quarter of FY26. The company reported standalone revenue from operations of Rs 12,126 crore for Q2 FY26, marking a growth of 16% over Rs 10,463 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Standalone net profit after tax stood at Rs 1,393 crore, up 16% year-on-year.
For the first half of FY26, the company recorded revenue of Rs 21,705 crore, reflecting a 5% increase over Rs 20,607 crore in H1 FY25. The profit after tax for the half-year period was Rs 2,519 crore, showing an 8% growth.
The company's EBITDA for Q2 FY26 was Rs 1,823 crore, registering a 20% growth. The EBITDA margin expanded by 55 basis points to 15% compared to the previous year. For H1 FY26, EBITDA stood at Rs 3,205 crore with an 8% growth, and the margin improved by 33 basis points to 14.8%.
On a consolidated basis, Hero MotoCorp reported revenue of Rs 12,218 crore and PAT of Rs 1,321 crore for Q2 FY26. The consolidated figures for H1 FY26 were Rs 21,946 crore in revenue and Rs 3,027 crore in PAT.
The company sold 16.91 lakh units of motorcycles and scooters in Q2 FY26, compared to 15.20 lakh units in Q2 FY25. For the half-year period, volumes stood at 30.58 lakh units against 30.55 lakh units in the previous year.
Hero MotoCorp gained market share during the festive season from August 23 to November 12, 2025. Its internal combustion engine vehicle registrations grew 16.2%, outpacing the industry growth of 14.7%, resulting in a market share gain of 40 basis points. The growth was driven by the Entry, Deluxe, and Scooter segments.
The company's electric vehicle business, VIDA, achieved its highest market share of 11.7%, led by the VIDA VX2 EVOOTER. At EICMA 2025 in Milan, the company unveiled electric mobility concepts under the VIDA NOVUS portfolio and announced the launch of VIDA VX2 in Europe.
Hero MotoCorp's global business recorded a dispatch growth of 77% during the quarter, three times the industry growth. Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Colombia led the expansion. The company entered the European and UK markets with its Euro5+ compliant portfolio.
The company announced an investment of up to Rs 170 crore to set up Global Part Center 2.0 at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. Commercial operations are expected to begin in FY 2027-28.
During the quarter, Hero MotoCorp launched and refreshed its product lineup in the 100cc-125cc segment, including HF Deluxe Pro, Glamour X, Destini 125, Destini 110, Xoom 160, and Xpulse 210. The HF Deluxe Pro drove gains in the Entry segment, while Passion, Splendor, and Glamour X performed well in the Deluxe segment.
The company made several leadership appointments. Harshavardhan Chitale was named CEO, effective January 5, 2026. Kausalya Nandakumar joined as Chief Business Officer for the Emerging Mobility Business Unit on July 10, 2025. Latika Taneja was appointed Head of Corporate Communications, Corporate Affairs, and CSR on August 19, 2025. Madhuri Mehta took charge as Chief Human Resources Officer on October 1, 2025.
Chief Financial Officer, said the GST regime changes improved consumer sentiment and benefited the industry. He noted that the company's performance was aided by new launches, an expanding product portfolio, and marketing campaigns. The VIDA business grew ahead of the industry average, and the global business outperformed markets.
Hero MotoCorp improved its Dow Jones Sustainability Index score to 75 in FY25 from 69 in FY24. Executive Chairman Pawan Munjal was recognized in the 2025 TIME100 Climate list for driving business climate action.
Dhiraj Kapoor, Company Secretary & Compliance Officer and Key Managerial Personnel of the company tendered his resignation, effective November 14, 2025, to pursue opportunities outside the organization. Consequently, Kapoor will cease to be the Nodal Officer of the company.
