Hero MotoCorp Enters Germany Market To Expand International Presence

Hero MotoCorp has announced its official entry into the German retail market, expanding its international operations to 53 countries globally. The expansion marks the company's fifth active market within Europe, building upon its existing distribution networks in Italy, Spain, France, and the United Kingdom.

To manage its regional sales, logistics, and after-sales operations, the manufacturer has established a strategic distribution partnership with the Austria-headquartered KSR Group. The rollout will initially launch through a network of more than 28 official sales and service outlets located across major German cities, with an operational target to expand the retail footprint to 30 sales points across the country. To support the initial market entry, the brand is offering a five-year vehicle warranty framework, which combines a three-year standard manufacturer warranty with a two-year promotional launch extension.

The debut product portfolio features Euro 5+ compliant models led by the XPulse 200 4V adventure motorcycle series, which utilizes a four-valve engine producing 14.1 kW of power and 17.35 Nm of torque. The entry lineup consists of two distinct configurations tailored for varying use cases. The standard XPulse 200 4V is positioned as a lightweight dual-purpose model featuring an 825mm seat height and is priced at 2,990 euros. The more off-road oriented XPulse 200 Pro variant adds fully adjustable long-travel suspension, 270mm of ground clearance, handlebar risers, and a taller 891mm seat height, carrying a retail price of 3,290 euros.
