Hala Mobility Elevates Shivam Agarwal as Chief Business Officer

Hala Mobility has elevated Shivam Agarwal to the role of Chief Business Officer (CBO), tasking him with leading the company's commercial strategy as it expands its electric mobility operations across India.

In his new role, Agarwal will oversee business growth, enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, customer success, market expansion and commercial alliances. He will also work across fleet operations, financing, energy partnerships and technology functions while supporting the company's future fundraising initiatives.

Agarwal has been part of Hala Mobility's leadership team during its expansion phase, leading business development, enterprise sales and strategic partnerships. According to the company, he has played a role in expanding its presence across key cities, growing its enterprise customer base and developing commercial frameworks for business growth.

The appointment comes as Hala Mobility plans to scale its operations following sustained profitability. The company currently operates a fleet of more than 15,000 electric vehicles across multiple cities and says it has enabled livelihood opportunities for over 100,000 gig workers while serving enterprises in the e-commerce, logistics and quick commerce sectors.

Hala Mobility said it aims to expand its fleet to 32,000 electric vehicles across 13 cities, while strengthening enterprise partnerships and its technology-led mobility ecosystem.

Commenting on the appointment, Shrikanth Reddy, Founder and CEO, Hala Mobility, said, "As we enter our next phase of expansion, his leadership will be critical in scaling our commercial operations, deepening enterprise relationships, and building new growth opportunities while staying true to our focus on sustainable and profitable growth."

The company has built an integrated EV ecosystem that includes fleet operations, battery swapping infrastructure, financing, insurance, refurbishment and predictive analytics, alongside services aimed at supporting gig workers. Hala Mobility said it will continue to focus on expanding in existing markets while entering new cities as demand for electric last-mile logistics grows.
