Ceramic Coating and PPF offered by GoMechanic

GoMechanic, has announced its entry into the car detailing market. The company will now offer services including Ceramic Coating and Paint Protection Film (PPF), aimed at enhancing vehicle care and protection.

“Our expansion into the car detailing market reflects our ongoing efforts to meet the changing needs of our customers,” said Muskan Kakkar, COO of GoMechanic. “With Ceramic Coating and PPF, we aim to deliver solutions that enhance vehicle appearance while offering lasting protection.

The company’s detailing offerings focus on Ceramic Coating and PPF, two solutions that have gained popularity among car owners. Ceramic Coating is a liquid polymer that bonds with a vehicle’s paint, providing protection against UV rays, chemical stains, and minor scratches while maintaining a glossy finish. PPF, on the other hand, is a clear film that protects a car’s surface from scratches, chips, and stains.

This move follows GoMechanic’s recent announcement of becoming EBITDA positive.. According to industry reports, the Indian ceramic coatings market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of over 7% through 2027, driven by increasing demand for advanced vehicle protection solutions, as claimed by the company.

“Our expansion into car detailing is an important step in our commitment to automotive care,” said Himanshu Arora, CEO of GoMechanic. “We are introducing our Ceramic Coating and Paint Protection Film services to provide protection and aesthetic enhancement. We also plan to expand our premium detailing services to 50 cities across India in the near future.”

The new detailing studios are operational in Delhi-NCR, Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Chennai, with cleaning and detailing services starting at Rs 2500.
