Genesys International Integrates DIGIPIN Technology Into National Mapping Platform

Genesys International Corporation Limited announced on July 21, 2025, that it has integrated DIGIPIN, India's standardized digital address layer, into its nationwide 2D and 3D mapping systems. The Mumbai-based geospatial technology company claims to be the first in India to achieve this integration under the Department of Posts' DHRUVA framework.

The integration spans more than 400 million building footprints, 8.3 million kilometers of road networks, and 19,000 PIN-code zones across India. The platform is designed to transform location data into an address ecosystem that supports real-time address generation, lookup, and verification processes.

DHRUVA, which stands for Digital Hub for Reference & Unique Virtual Address, is a government framework aimed at building India's Digital Public Infrastructure for verified, geocoded addresses. This system is intended to complement existing digital infrastructure elements such as Aadhaar for identity verification and UPI for digital payments.

According to Sajid Malik, Chairman of Genesys, the platform creates a connection between mapped locations and service delivery systems. The company states that verified addresses generated through this system can support urban planning, logistics operations, and governance processes.

The technology extends beyond traditional mapping by embedding DIGIPIN into 3D Digital Twin models. These spatial representations of cities connect address data to infrastructure systems, planning tools, and emergency response networks. The approach provides spatial intelligence capabilities that conventional 2D mapping systems cannot offer.

Genesys' platform operates through an AI-driven 3D Digital Twin system that serves as a connecting layer for various stakeholders accessing verified address data. The system provides role-based access for different user categories including Address Information Providers, Agents, and Users. It offers functionalities for address creation, validation, and integration across multiple systems.

The platform includes visual validation tools, geofencing capabilities, and suffix-based digital address identifiers that use formats such as "storename@digipin." These features are designed to make addresses easier to use, verify, and integrate across government systems and consumer platforms.

DIGIPIN is currently operational on Genesys' national 2D maps, with 3D Digital Twin pilot programs underway in key cities across India. The company collaborates with ministries, Smart Cities initiatives, Urban Local Bodies, and digital service providers to expand India's verified address infrastructure.

Genesys International Corporation Limited, established in 1983, specializes in geospatial solutions with expertise in 3D Digital Twin mapping and LiDAR-based GIS platforms. The company provides mapping and spatial analysis solutions for urban planning, transportation, and environmental monitoring sectors. The company trades on Indian stock exchanges under the symbol GENESYS (BSE: 506109).
