Genesys International Appoints Nikhil Alulkar as New CEO

Genesys International Corporation has appointed Nikhil Alulkar as its Chief Executive Officer, with the company looking to expand beyond its established government business and increase adoption of its mapping, Digital Twin and spatial intelligence platforms.

Alulkar was previously Head – India Business and Senior Vice President at Tech Mahindra. In his new role, he will lead company-wide operations, business execution and growth at Genesys International.

The company said the appointment comes as it seeks to broaden its addressable market across enterprise and B2B customers, while also scaling its AI-native mapping and Digital Twin platforms in India and international markets.

Nikhil Alulkar to Lead Genesys International’s Expansion

As CEO, Alulkar’s responsibilities will include scaling Genesys International’s AI-native mapping and Digital Twin platforms, expanding its enterprise and B2B presence, strengthening government and institutional relationships, and developing the operating structure needed for international growth.

The company has invested in high-precision geospatial content, advanced mapping technologies and Digital Twin capabilities. It now plans to apply these capabilities across infrastructure, mobility, utilities, telecommunications, urban planning, land administration, asset intelligence and digital consumer applications.

Alulkar said the next phase of digitisation would increasingly involve physical assets such as roads, buildings, land parcels, utilities and infrastructure becoming digital objects that can be understood and analysed by systems. “The opportunity ahead is to productise this foundation, make it relevant across a much wider set of industries and customers, and take these capabilities to global markets.”

Genesys International Targets Broader Spatial Intelligence Applications

Genesys said its strategy is to move beyond mapping towards a broader spatial intelligence platform. The company intends to provide governments and enterprises with high-precision, dynamic and AI-enabled geospatial data for understanding and modelling the physical world and supporting decision-making.

The company said it has more than 2,000 professionals and a nationwide constellation of sensors, with operations spanning enterprise and government markets as well as emerging consumer applications related to mapping technology.
