Flying Flea, the electric mobility division of Royal Enfield, revealed its second model, the scrambler-styled S6, at EICMA 2025 on Monday. The announcement follows the brand's debut of the C6 model at last year's event.

The S6 represents Flying Flea's expansion into dual-purpose electric motorcycles, combining urban maneuverability with off-road capability. The vehicle draws inspiration from the original Flying Flea motorcycles used during World War II, which were designed for lightweight, all-terrain deployment via parachute drops.

Technical Specifications

The S6 features a staggered wheel configuration with a 19-inch front and 18-inch rear setup, supported by an upside-down front fork and chain final drive. The motorcycle incorporates a high-torque electric motor and extended suspension travel designed for varied terrain.

A magnesium battery case serves dual purposes of weight reduction and thermal management. The casing design includes forward-facing fins representing modern technology and rear fins symbolizing heritage, converging into a central wing motif.

The dashboard consists of a round touchscreen display that combines traditional aesthetics with digital functionality. The interface runs on an in-house operating system utilizing a Qualcomm Snapdragon QWM2290 processor, enabling 4G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Riding Features

The S6 includes integrated navigation, a dedicated off-road riding mode, and lean-angle sensing anti-lock braking system. The dual-channel ABS can be deactivated for off-road use. Additional features include traction control and voice-activated commands accessible through the rider's smartphone.

NXP microcontrollers manage data processing, communication protocols, and energy distribution. The proprietary Vehicle Control Unit integrates multiple ride mode configurations that adjust performance parameters based on riding conditions.

Remote management capabilities allow riders to control functions through a smartphone application and smartwatch interface. Available features include keyless ignition, ride mode selection, charging monitoring, and vehicle diagnostics. The system supports over-the-air software updates.

Market Positioning

The S6 targets riders seeking vehicles capable of navigating urban environments and unpaved surfaces. The enduro-style seat and off-road mode distinguish the model from the previously announced C6, which emphasizes urban styling.

Flying Flea develops its technology at facilities in India and the United Kingdom, focusing on motor systems, battery management, and connectivity solutions.

The S6 is scheduled for market release in late 2026. Pricing and specific technical specifications, including battery capacity and range estimates, were not disclosed at the announcement.
