FlixBus teams up with AbhiBus to enhance bus travel in India
This collaboration will offer users access to premium bus journeys starting at Rs.99, with new routes connecting major South Indian cities and enhancing travel options through AbhiBus’s platform.
AbhiBus, part of ixigo's bus business and a leading bus ticketing platform in India, has partnered with FlixBus, Europe's largest intercity bus service, to bring new travel options to Indian passengers. FlixBus tickets are now available on AbhiBus, offering bus journeys across India, with services starting at Rs.99.
FlixBus, which launched its operations in India earlier this year, has expanded its services in South India, connecting cities such as Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad. Future expansion will include cities like Coimbatore, Madurai, Tirupati, and Vijayawada, using AbhiBus’s reach and technological expertise in South Indian markets.
The company claimed that this partnership aims to improve the travel experience for Indian passengers by offering reliable services, comfortable seating, and punctual schedules at competitive prices. The integration with AbhiBus allows passengers to easily browse routes, compare prices, and book tickets through an accessible, user-friendly platform.
