TVS Motor Company is setting the tone for FY26 with a strong product offensive, including a new adventure motorcycle, a race-inspired performance scooter, and the long-awaited revival of British marque Norton.
“FY25 has been a landmark year, but FY26 will be even more action-packed with an exciting lineup of new launches and strategic initiatives in the pipeline,” a senior company spokesperson told Autocar Professional.
“We have three launches planned across the commuter, electric, and premium segments. Among these, there will be an exciting adventure bike and a race-inspired performance scooter,” the person added.
The company also confirmed its plans for Norton, with six new products in the pipeline over the next three years.
“Two exciting Norton models will be launched towards the end of this year, including a flagship superbike. We are in advanced stages of preparing to launch them into the market,” the spokesperson said, adding that the new bikes—and the overall experience—will do justice to the iconic brand’s legacy and reputation.
“We are in the advanced stages of bringing Norton to market with products that reflect the brand’s DNA—Design, Dynamic, and Detail. The retail experience will mirror this philosophy, with a distinct, premium touch,” the company added.
Experience Upgrade
The company, which had a record-breaking FY25 and sold 4.7 million units, expects the current year to be even better.
“FY25 has been a landmark year, but FY26 will be even more action-packed,” the spokesperson said. “Our strategy is built on three key pillars: sharper product differentiation, faster execution, and deeper global presence.”
It believes that its upcoming launches will satisfy younger buyers seeking more than just a daily commute.
“Today’s youth want experiences, not just machines. With Apache and Ronin, we’re offering more than a ride-a lifestyle,” the spokesperson said. “This includes community rides, racing events, merchandise, and cutting-edge connectivity.”
Accelerating Execution
TVS is also focused on reducing product development cycles by leveraging platform commonality, agile methodologies, and customer feedback loops.
“Speed is a competitive advantage. We’re adopting a modular approach to development, which helps us cut time-to-launch and align faster with evolving customer needs,” a senior executive said. The company sees this strategy as crucial for both domestic launches and scaling innovations globally with agility.
Global Strategy Under New Leadership
TVS has appointed Peyman Kargar, a global automotive veteran and former head of Renault’s premium brands, as Head of International Business. His mandate is to scale up the brand’s international reach, deepen retail partnerships, and tailor offerings to local needs.
“Peyman brings a global mindset with deep regional insights. Under his leadership, we aim to become a truly global mobility company,” the spokesperson said.
In FY25, the company saw strong traction in Latin America, particularly Brazil, through its fleet and delivery-focused tie-up with Mottu. Brand visibility has grown in Turkey, while Western and Central Africa remain robust despite inflation-led headwinds.
“We’re optimistic about a turnaround in several African markets. Consumption demand is intact, and currency pressure seems stabilising,” a TVS export official noted.
Outlook
With a flurry of launches, a refreshed premium brand play, and a deeper international focus, FY26 is shaping up to be a year of bold execution for TVS Motor.
“Our customers expect excitement and trust from us—and we intend to deliver on both fronts,” the company said. “Whether it’s the next-gen Apache, a stunning Norton, or our global expansion—we’re ready to raise the bar.”
