Evera Plans Fleet Expansion to 4,500 Electric Vehicles by June 2026
Company secures USD 2 million funding from Signodrive Technologies to expand infrastructure as 4,000 leased vehicles join platform.
Evera, an electric cab mobility company, announced plans to expand its fleet to 4,500 electric vehicles by June 2026, supported by USD 2 million in funding from Signodrive Technologies for infrastructure and technology expansion.
Signodrive Technologies leased a 4,000-vehicle fleet from Gensol Engineering through IRP earlier this year, which will operate on the Evera platform. Evera currently operates 500 electric vehicles and plans to add 2,500 vehicles by March 2026, bringing the total to 4,500 by June 2026.
The funding from an investor of Signodrive Technologies will support expansion of EV infrastructure, upgrades to fleet management systems, and integration of operational technologies. Evera serves both business-to-consumer and business-to-business customers, with airport transfers forming a significant portion of consumer business and corporate clients using the service for employee transportation.
Nimish Trivedi, Co-Founder & CEO of Evera, said, "The funding from Signodrive Technologies will strengthen our infrastructure and operational capabilities while accelerating the enhancement of our technology platform as we expand premium electric mobility across the region. Our foray into the premium B2C segment underscores our commitment to operational excellence, service reliability, and sustainable mobility. Signodrive technology arm will play a key role in advancing our technology capabilities and supporting this growth."
Evera operates services including daily commutes, corporate transfers, airport mobility, intercity travel, and hourly rentals. The platform has been providing airport services since 2022. The company operates a fully electric fleet designed to support corporate ESG and carbon-reduction objectives.
Evera was founded in 2009 by Nimish Trivedi, Vikas Bansal, and Rajeev Tiwari, and is operated by Prakriti E-Mobility. The expansion positions the company to address demand for electric mobility services in the Delhi NCR region.
