EV Recharge teams up with ZEVO for mobile fast charging solutions
This partnership introduces on-location charging for ZEVO's electric fleet in Noida, significantly reducing downtime
EV Recharge, a company specialising in mobile green energy charging solutions, has partnered with ZEVO, a logistics provider operating over 1,500 three-wheeler electric vehicles for deliveries. This collaboration marks the launch of EV Recharge’s operations in Noida, aiming to improve sustainable logistics through mobile charging technology.
The partnership will provide on-location charging for ZEVO's fleet, significantly reducing vehicle downtime and allowing more time on the road for deliveries. EV Recharge's technology enables vehicles to be charged from 0% to 80% in approximately 20 minutes, compared to the traditional charging time of 3 to 4 hours. The mobile charging units offered by EV Recharge provide fast charging capacities ranging from 18KWh to 120KWh, catering to the specific needs of fleet operators like ZEVO.
Arpit Sharma, Co-Founder and CEO of EV Recharge, stated, "We are pleased to partner with ZEVO to introduce our mobile fast charging technology. This solution allows for flexible charging at the vehicle's location, which can enhance the efficiency of EV logistics operations."
Dewansh Poddar, Co-Founder and COO of EV Recharge, mentioned that this partnership is part of a broader plan to expand mobile charging solutions across India in the coming 10 to 12 months. Initially focusing on the B2B sector, EV Recharge aims to eventually offer services to individual EV owners.
EV Recharge utilises a lighter module in its mobile charging units to ensure smooth operations. The company is notable for using electric vehicles to deliver power to other EVs, thereby maintaining a fully green process. Additionally, their technology features high power conversion efficiency, minimising energy loss.
The Founder and CEO of ZEVO commented on the collaboration, stating that mobile fast charging will enable their delivery fleet to maintain operational efficiency and meet customer expectations.
The launch in Noida is just the beginning of EV Recharge’s expansion plan. While initially focused on ZEVO’s fleet, the partnership aims to extend advanced charging technology to additional locations and sectors, contributing to the development of a more sustainable logistics network across India.
