Eurogrip Tyres will serve as the technical partner for the PETRONAS TVS India One Make Championship for the seventh consecutive year, TVS Srichakra Ltd announced on June 9, 2025. The championship will run from June 6 to October 5, 2025, featuring Eurogrip tyres on race-tuned TVS Apache motorcycles.
The partnership will see Eurogrip's Protorq Extreme and Remora tyre models used on TVS Apache RR 310 and TVS Apache RTR 200 motorcycles throughout the racing series. The Protorq Extreme features zero-degree steel belted radial construction designed for track performance.
T K Ravi, Chief Operating Officer of TVS Srichakra Ltd, stated that the seven-year partnership demonstrates the company's technological capabilities in motorcycle tyre manufacturing. He noted that feedback from racers helps improve product development for track applications.
V Sivaramakrishnan, Deputy COO and Chief Technology Officer at TVS Srichakra Ltd, emphasized the championship's role as a platform for testing high-speed tyre performance. He said the company's research and development teams use racing data to enhance tyre specifications for track conditions.
Vimal Sumbly, Head of Premium Business at TVS Motor Company, highlighted the partnership's focus on engineering and track performance. He noted that 2025 marks the 20th anniversary of the TVS Apache brand, which follows the company's "Track to Road" development philosophy.
TVS Srichakra Ltd, established in 1982, manufactures tyres for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and off-highway vehicles. The company operates under the TVS Mobility group, which reports annual revenues of $3 billion. Manufacturing facilities are located in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, and Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, with combined monthly production capacity exceeding 3 million tyres.
The company maintains a design center in Milan, Italy, supporting its research and development operations in Madurai. TVS Srichakra tests its products under Indian, European, and Japanese road conditions and exports to more than 85 countries worldwide.
