Euler Motors Invests Rs 100 Crore to Expand Palwal Plant

Euler Motors has expanded its manufacturing operations at Palwal in Haryana, commissioning a dedicated production line for its four-wheeler cargo portfolio with an investment overlay of Rs 100 crore.

The facility, inaugurated by Dr. Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman of strategic investor Hero MotoCorp, spans 40 acres and scales the company's total annual manufacturing capacity up to 24,000 vehicles. The electric commercial vehicle manufacturer said the plant will manufacture the Turbo EV 1000, a one-tonne electric truck, and the ADAS-equipped Storm EV.

At full utilization, the Palwal plant will operate across two shifts alongside a third hybrid shift. The site integrates an automated four-wheeler assembly conveyor line, dedicated body shops, and in-house battery pack assembly lines. The manufacturing process incorporates layered testing protocols across suspension frames, drivetrains, and battery packs under thermal, vibration, and drop abuse conditions.

"Our strategic investment in Euler Motors reflects our confidence in its vision and capabilities, as well as our belief in the broader potential of India's rapidly evolving electric mobility ecosystem," said Dr. Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman of Hero MotoCorp. "The expansion of Euler's Palwal facility with a dedicated four-wheeler production line represents more than an increase in manufacturing capacity; it is a step towards shaping the future of India's commercial mobility."

The capacity expansion comes amid volume growth in Euler's light commercial vehicle business. Monthly deliveries of its four-wheeler portfolio grew from approximately 40 units in April last year to around 800 units in June this year. Within 10 months of introduction, the Turbo EV 1000 helped raise EV penetration in the 4W one-tonne cargo category from roughly 1% to 5.8%, with Euler securing an estimated 28% market share in the segment.
