Epsilon Carbon Reports 10% Reduction in Upstream Logistics Emissions in FY2026

Epsilon Carbon said its electric and LNG-powered freight fleet helped reduce carbon dioxide equivalent (CO₂e) emissions from its upstream transportation operations by 10% during FY2025-26, as the company expands the use of lower-emission logistics across its supply chain.

According to the company, the emissions reductions have been independently verified by a third party and are equivalent to planting around 29,000 trees. It added that the verified reductions can support supply chain partners in their Scope 3 emissions reporting and sustainability disclosures under recognised ESG reporting frameworks.

Epsilon Carbon said it plans to expand its electric and LNG fleet during FY2026-27 as part of the next phase of its logistics decarbonisation programme. The company stated that it has established a diversified low-carbon freight model with independently certified emissions reductions.

"Decarbonising logistics is central to our climate strategy. What makes this milestone meaningful is that the results are independently verified with a 10% reduction in CO₂e emissions within the upstream transportation category over a single financial year, driven by the adoption of Electric and LNG fleets," said Gaurav Mathur, Chief Executive Officer, Epsilon Carbon.
