Envalior Opens EV Skilling Centre at MM Polytechnic in Pune Under CSR Initiative

Envalior India has inaugurated a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in EV Technology at Marathwada Mitra Mandal's (MM) Polytechnic in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. The facility has been established in collaboration with BroadArks Foundation to provide practical training in electric vehicle technologies for technical students.

NSDC-Certified EV Service and Diagnostics Courses on Offer

The Centre is expected to train around 250 learners annually and will offer NSDC-certified programmes in EV Service, Safety & Maintenance (Level 4) and EV Diagnostics & Systems (Level 5). The courses are open to eligible ITI and Polytechnic students from disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics and Computer Science.

What the EV Training Curriculum Covers

According to the company, the Level 4 programme covers EV architecture, battery fundamentals, charging systems, workshop safety, routine maintenance and basic diagnostics. The advanced Level 5 curriculum focuses on battery management systems, thermal management, high-voltage safety, motors and controllers, power electronics, charging infrastructure and advanced diagnostics.

Hands-On Training with EV Labs and Capstone Projects

The training will combine classroom instruction with laboratory sessions using EV cut-sections, battery systems, motors, controllers, charging equipment and diagnostic tools. Students will also undergo practical assessments, industry exposure and complete a capstone project as part of the programme.

Envalior said the initiative is intended to strengthen the connection between technical education and evolving industry requirements while creating a scalable model for developing EV-related technical skills.
