EMotorad Partners with Booz Mobility to supply electric kick scooters for fleet operations
The collaboration sees EMotorad as the exclusive supplier of electric kick scooters for Booz Mobility's fleet in gated communities, aiming to provide sustainable micro-mobility solutions for short-distance commuting across metro areas by 2025.
EMotorad, a brand in the e-cycle and micro-mobility space, has partnered with Booz Mobility, an Ahmedabad-based electric kick scooter fleet operator, to supply electric kick scooters for Booz's fleet. This partnership represents the first collaboration in India between an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and a micro-mobility operator.
Under this agreement, EMotorad will be the exclusive supplier of electric kick scooters for Booz Mobility, powering their fleet for intra-campus mobility in gated communities. Booz Mobility, known for providing electric kick scooter fleet services in gated communities, offers EV Fleet-As-A-Subscription services for short-distance commuting in metro areas. EMotorad will provide the Lil E electric kick scooter as part of this partnership.
Kunal Gupta, CEO of EMotorad, noted that this partnership aligns with the company’s vision to contribute to electric transportation in India. As part of the collaboration, EMotorad aims to supply 500 kick scooters to Booz Mobility by the end of FY25, supporting Booz's goal of providing eco-friendly transportation within metro cities.
Rutvij Dasadia, Founder of Booz Mobility, expressed that this partnership will help address short-distance commuting needs in metro areas, targeting service across approximately 850 million square feet of gated premises by 2025. This collaboration highlights the growing focus on sustainable and efficient transportation solutions in India's electric mobility sector.
