EMotorad Launches T-Rex Smart Electric Cycle with Bluetooth and GPS Connectivity

EMotorad has introduced the T-Rex Smart, positioning it as India's first electric cycle equipped with Bluetooth and GPS connectivity. The launch marks the company's entry into the smart mobility segment with a product aimed at urban commuters seeking connected riding experiences.

The electric cycle is available in two variants. The Bluetooth-enabled model is priced at ₹37,999, while the version with both Bluetooth and GPS capabilities costs ₹45,999. Both models integrate with the AMIIGO NXT App, compatible with Android and iOS devices, enabling riders to access route history, real-time trip tracking, and performance monitoring.

Safety features include a geofence function that establishes predefined boundaries for riders, and a child lock mechanism that limits maximum throttle speed. Additional functionalities comprise theft alarms, remote immobilization, emergency SOS capabilities, and rider history tracking. The app also provides access to a riding community platform.

"At EMotorad, innovation has never been about adding noise; it's about adding value," said Kunal Gupta, Co-founder and CEO of EMotorad. "With T-Rex Smart, we wanted to create something that feels alive, something that connects people and keeps them safe."

The T-Rex Smart is built on a hardtail mountain bike frame constructed from high-tensile steel. It features 29-inch by 2.4-inch puncture-protected nylon tires, a 100mm travel front fork, and mechanical disc brakes with auto cut-off functionality.

Power delivery comes from a 36V 250W rear-hub motor paired with a 36V 10.2Ah lithium-ion battery. The manufacturer claims a range of up to 50 kilometers using pedal assist mode, or approximately 40 kilometers on throttle mode per charge. The cycle includes a Cluster C5 digital display and a Shimano TY300 7-speed drivetrain with five pedal-assist levels.

Standard equipment includes full-metal mudguards, rear-view mirrors, a mobile holder, a rear carrier, an integrated front light with horn, a pannier bag, and the Xcape Locksafe security system. The frame carries a five-year warranty, with a weight capacity rated up to 110 kilograms.

EMotorad describes itself as India's leading electric cycle brand, focused on sustainable e-mobility solutions for urban transportation and goods delivery.
