Emmvee Secures ₹1,500 Crore Order from KPI Green Energy for Solar Project in Gujarat

Emmvee Secures ₹1,500 Crore Order from KPI Green Energy for Solar Project in Gujarat

Emmvee, a solar module and cell manufacturer based in India, has received an order worth approximately ₹1,500 crore from KPI Green Energy Ltd., part of the KP Group. The company will supply high-efficiency TopCon bifacial solar modules for an upcoming solar project in Gujarat.

The modules will be produced at Emmvee’s facilities in Dabaspet and Sulibele, Karnataka. Delivery is expected to be completed in the financial year 2025–26.

This order marks a continuation of Emmvee’s collaboration with KPI Green Energy, which began in 2021. It reflects a steady partnership between the two companies in the renewable energy sector.

Manjunatha D.V., Founder and Managing Director of Emmvee, said the order highlights the ongoing association and operational reliability between the two firms. Dr. Faruk G. Patel, Chairman and Managing Director of KPI Green Energy, remarked that the partnership is based on consistent performance and mutual goals in sustainable energy development.

Emmvee currently operates with a module production capacity of around 7.8 GWp and a cell production capacity of approximately 2.94 GWp. The company serves clients across Asia, Europe, Africa, and North America.

Emmvee is a solar energy company headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Established in 1992, the company began with solar thermal systems and later expanded into photovoltaic (PV) modules and project development. Its operations are carried out through entities such as Emmvee Solar Systems Pvt. Ltd. and Emmvee Photovoltaic Power Pvt. Ltd., with manufacturing facilities located in Karnataka.

The company produces both bifacial and monofacial solar PV modules, including TopCon and polycrystalline variants. These modules are intended for applications in rooftop and utility-scale solar installations. Emmvee provides a product warranty of 10 years and a performance warranty extending up to 25 years. In addition to manufacturing, the company offers engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for solar projects.

As of 2025, Emmvee operates five manufacturing units, including a 2 GW facility near Bengaluru International Airport in Sulibele. The company’s total solar module production capacity is approximately 6.6 GWp, and its solar cell production capacity is around 2.5 GWp. The facilities include automated assembly lines and are equipped with technology designed to maintain quality and environmental standards.

The company has developed and implemented projects in India and internationally. In Europe, it has delivered a 14 MW plant in northern Germany. In India, it has completed rooftop solar systems of 13 MW and ground-mounted projects exceeding 140 MW. Emmvee continues to expand its manufacturing and project development activities in line with increasing demand for solar energy solutions.
