Electric bus NueGo expands services in South
NueGo electric coaches can run up to 250 kilometres on a single charge, the press release states.
NueGo, the electric bus brand from GreenCell Mobility, has commenced its first-ever electric bus services on Chennai-Pondicherry, Chennai- Bangalore and Chennai-Tirupati routes.
Devendra Chawla, CEO, GreenCell Mobility said that these services mark the expansion of NueGo’s services in the south with the launch of their operations in Chennai-Pondicherry, Chennai-Tirupati and Chennai-Bengaluru.
The brand is successfully operating its services across India, primarily on the Bhopal-Indore, Delhi-Chandigarh, Delhi-Agra, Delhi-Dehradun, Agra-Jaipur, and Delhi-Jaipur routes, in addition to the markets in the South, the press release stated.
The company has 12 schedules between Chennai-Tirupati route to begin with, followed by 12 schedules on Chennai-Pondicherry, and over 30 schedules on Chennai-Bengaluru route.
In Chennai, NueGo buses will start from Koyambedu, from PRTC Bus Stand in Pondicherry, from RTC Bus Stand in Tirupati, and from Majestic in Bangalore. NueGo services will be available at a special introductory price in Chennai-Tirupati and Chennai-Pondicherry, starting from Rs 319/per seat.

GreenCell is building a platform to provide Electric Mobility-as-a-Service (eMaaS), initially using electric buses and delivering the core value proposition of cheaper non-polluting on-demand shared transportation.
