EKA Mobility Appoints Mohit Sharma as Chief Human Resource Officer

EKA Mobility, a company specializing in electric vehicles and technology, has announced the appointment of Mohit Sharma as its Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO).  

Sharma brings 27 years of experience in human resources, having held leadership roles at companies such as Whirlpool, VVF Group, and Parle Agro. His areas of expertise include talent management, organizational transformation, performance-driven culture development, and global HR strategy. In his new role at EKA Mobility, he will focus on strengthening HR policies, fostering a performance-oriented work culture, and enhancing employee engagement.  

Commenting on his appointment, Sharma stated that he looks forward to supporting EKA Mobility’s growth by refining talent strategies and promoting an inclusive workplace.  

Dr. Sudhir Mehta, Founder and Chairman of EKA Mobility, highlighted the importance of human resources in the company’s development. He noted that Sharma’s experience would contribute to strengthening the company’s talent management and organizational culture as it continues to expand in the electric mobility sector.  

EKA Mobility, a subsidiary of Pinnacle Mobility Solutions Pvt. Ltd., is an electric vehicle (EV) and technology company based in India. The company focuses on developing sustainable mobility solutions, particularly in the commercial vehicle segment, including electric buses and light commercial vehicles.  

In addition to vehicle manufacturing, EKA Mobility is working on expanding its EV ecosystem, which includes partnerships for battery technology, charging infrastructure, and fleet management solutions. The company collaborates with government initiatives and private organizations to support the adoption of electric vehicles in India.  

EKA Mobility has also invested in building its production capabilities to meet the growing demand for electric commercial vehicles. Its facilities incorporate modern manufacturing techniques to ensure quality and scalability. The company’s approach includes localized production to align with the government’s Make in India initiative, aiming to reduce dependency on imports and enhance domestic manufacturing.
