The 15th International Conference on "Clean Air Today, Every Day" concluded successfully with over 315 delegates from India and abroad attending the two-day event held at The Lalit Hotel in New Delhi on October 22-23, 2024.

The conference, organized by ECMA, featured 39 presentations, including 13 keynote addresses and 26 technical papers, delivered across nine sessions. Dr. Prashant Gargava, Director of NCAP (MoEFCC), served as the Chief Guest, alongside international dignitaries Dirk Bosteels from AECC, Belgium, and Dr. Michael Geller from MECA Clean Mobility, USA.

Industry leaders and experts gathered to discuss crucial developments in emission control technologies, with particular focus on EURO7/BS7 standards, hydrogen fuel applications for internal combustion engines, and hybrid powertrain innovations. The conference included representatives from OEMs, emission system suppliers, test agencies, and NGOs.

A highlight of the event was a panel discussion on "BS7 for India – Challenges, Viability, Readiness and Impact on Technology," which addressed India's preparation for the BS7 emission standards regime. The exhibition area featured six booth stalls showcasing advanced products and technologies from various organizations.

The conference also saw the release of a Technical Bulletin containing nine articles covering various aspects of emission control and air quality improvement. The event served as a significant networking platform for professionals in the pollution control and air quality sector.

Dr. Gargava praised ECMA's efforts in organizing the international conference and took time to visit the exhibition stalls, demonstrating the government's interest in emerging clean air technologies.

The two-day conference highlighted the industry's commitment to advancing clean air technologies and fostering international collaboration in addressing air quality challenges.
