E3 Electric.Ai has started production of the E3 TRION electric scooter at its Hyderabad manufacturing facility, with customer deliveries set to begin in batches from October 7, 2026. The company said the date also marks its second anniversary.
The E3 TRION will be offered in three variants — C1, C1X and C2 — aimed at youngsters, families and business users. The variants will be rolled out in planned phases and will be available in six colours: Nova Blue, Teal Blue, Graphite Grey, Misty Green, Solar Red and Luna White.
E3 Electric.Ai said the scooter has undergone a development and validation programme covering reliability, safety and durability. The programme included more than 550 Design Validation Plan (DVP) tests, accelerated durability testing and mixed-terrain road trials.
E3 TRION Completes 550+ Validation Tests
The E3 TRION completed more than 550 DVP tests, including chassis dynamometer power testing, range testing and brake-pressure sensor validation. E3 Electric.Ai also conducted accelerated durability testing on a Cam Drum Test Rig with a 205kg payload.
The scooter underwent water-wading tests at depths ranging from 100mm to 300mm at varying speeds, along with heavy-rainstorm and water-wash testing. It was also evaluated on a 260km mixed-terrain round trip between Bengaluru and Hogenakkal, covering mountain roads, sharp bends, gradients and rough surfaces.
E3 Electric.Ai CEO On E3 TRION Production Start
Commenting on the start of production, E3 Electric.Ai founder and CEO Sanjeev P. said the company’s engineering and validation work was aimed at preparing the E3 TRION for customer use. He added that production has now moved the scooter from testing to customer deliveries, with the first 100 customers forming the company’s founding-owner community.
E3 TRION First 100 Customers To Get Extended Warranty
The first 100 E3 TRION customers will receive an 8Y100K+ extended warranty covering the battery and specified key parts for eight years or 1 lakh kilometres, whichever comes first. They will also receive one year of E3 Wingman roadside assistance.
The combined offering is valued at ₹6,500 for the C1 with its 2.3kWh battery and ₹8,500 for the C1X and C2, which use a 3kWh battery. The offer is subject to terms and conditions.
