Ducati Unveils Five New Models At EICMA 2026, Previews Desmo250 EDS

Ducati has unveiled five new motorcycles at EICMA 2026, comprising the updated Diavel V4, DesertX Rally and three limited-edition SP models – the Panigale V4 SP, Panigale V2 SP and Streetfighter V4 SP. The Italian manufacturer has also previewed the Desmo250 EDS, expanding its off-road portfolio, alongside updated liveries and specifications across its 2027 model range.

The new models were presented ahead of EICMA's opening for industry professionals on November 3. The showcase also includes the Monster Dark, Multistrada V4 Grand Tour, Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak and Panigale V4 MY27, which were previously unveiled through Ducati's World Première 2027 programme.

The updated Diavel V4 MY27 receives revised styling, electronic control systems and an expanded variant line-up with the return of the V4 S. The new S variant features Öhlins SmartEC-3 semi-active electronic suspension, a lithium-ion battery, heated grips and dedicated alloy wheel finishes. Ducati has also introduced its Factory Made (DFM) customisation programme to the Diavel range, allowing buyers to select factory-fitted colours, components and packages.

The motorcycle retains the 168hp V4 Granturismo engine, which receives an updated electronic control system to improve throttle response at low and medium engine speeds. It is paired with Ducati Quick Shift 2.0, while the updated electronics package includes a 6.9-inch TFT display with optical bonding technology and standard turn-by-turn navigation.

Ducati DesertX Rally Gets 890cc V2 Engine

The DesertX Rally MY27 moves to the new DesertX technical platform, featuring an 890cc Ducati V2 engine, a dedicated monocoque frame and Full Floater rear suspension. The twin-cylinder engine produces 110hp and 92Nm of torque, with Ducati stating that its torque delivery is concentrated across low and medium engine speeds.

The off-road motorcycle receives long-travel KYB suspension, including a closed-cartridge competition fork with Kashima Coating and DLC surface treatments on its 48mm stanchions. The rear suspension features a fully adjustable shock absorber, complemented by an adjustable Öhlins steering damper.

The suspension setup is supported by new Takasago Excel tubeless rims, with a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel. The rear rim uses a 36-spoke configuration, while the narrower channels are intended to improve manoeuvrability over difficult terrain.

Ducati Introduces Three Limited-Edition SP Motorcycles

The three limited-edition motorcycles unveiled at EICMA are the Panigale V4 SP MY27, Panigale V2 SP and Streetfighter V4 SP. All three receive equipment and components derived from Ducati's racing programmes.

The Panigale V4 SP is based on the Panigale V4 MY27 and is powered by a 218hp Desmosedici Stradale engine. Its equipment includes carbon-fibre wheels, an STM EVO-SBK dry clutch, a racing gearbox with Neutral Lock and Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 suspension. The motorcycle also receives an adjustable rear link derived from the Panigale V4 R, along with a revised aerodynamic package featuring larger wings and Corner Sidepods.

The Panigale V2 SP is based on the Panigale V2 S and is being developed as a homologation model for the motorcycle that will compete in the FIM Supersport World Championship from 2027. It uses a 120hp Ducati V2 engine with variable valve timing, alongside Öhlins suspension, a longer swingarm, forged wheels and a dry clutch.

The Streetfighter V4 SP is powered by a 214hp Desmosedici Stradale engine and features carbon-fibre wheels, an STM EVO-SBK dry clutch, racing final drive and machined adjustable footpegs. Its equipment also includes electronically controlled Öhlins suspension and a braking system with a Brembo MCS master cylinder featuring remote adjustment.

Ducati Updates Hypermotard, Scrambler, Multistrada And XDiavel

The 2027 model range also receives updates across the Hypermotard, Scrambler, Multistrada and XDiavel families.

The Hypermotard 698 Mono RVE receives an updated version of its Graffiti livery and Termignoni-approved silencers as standard in markets where they are available. The Hypermotard V2 RVE marks the return of the RVE designation to Ducati's twin-cylinder range, with a dedicated colour scheme and revised equipment specification.

The Scrambler Full Throttle MY27 receives a Heritage livery featuring green and bronze colours inspired by 1970s racing motorcycles and cars. The colour scheme extends to the aluminium wheels, while the exhaust heat shields and front side covers receive black finishes.

The XDiavel V4 Black Edition returns to a predominantly black colour scheme, while the Multistrada V2 receives a Sport livery inspired by the Multistrada Pikes Peak. The latter combines black bodywork with Racing Red wheels and side-panel details.

Ducati Previews Desmo250 EDS For 2027

Ducati has also previewed the Desmo250 EDS, adding another model to its developing off-road range. The motorcycle follows the Desmo450 EDS, which was previewed at EICMA 2025, and is scheduled to reach European dealerships in summer 2027.

The manufacturer has not disclosed further technical specifications or pricing for the Desmo250 EDS in its EICMA announcement.

Ducati Marks Centenary With EICMA Exhibition

Alongside the motorcycle launches, Ducati has opened a centenary exhibition titled '100 ANNI. 100 STORIE. A journey through the Ducati Centenary milestones' at the south entrance of the EICMA venue.

The exhibition traces 100 key moments from the manufacturer's history through motorcycles, engines, racing achievements and technological developments. It also brings together motorcycles from the Ducati Museum and archives, including models produced in limited numbers.

The display includes the Superleggera V4 Centenario Tricolore and motorcycles associated with MotoGP and Superbike riders such as Loris Capirossi, Casey Stoner, Francesco Bagnaia, Carl Fogarty and Alvaro Bautista. Other exhibits include Marco Lucchinelli's 750 F1 BOT, Mike Hailwood's 900 SS from the 1978 Tourist Trophy and Bruno Spaggiari's 750 Imola Desmo.

The exhibition is the final stop of Ducati's Collezione 100 tour, which began at the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello before travelling to World Ducati Week, the Goodwood Festival of Speed and museums in the Bologna region. It will remain open to visitors throughout EICMA 2026.
