Avis India Launches Customised Force Urbania Vans For Group Travel
Avis India has introduced customised Force Urbania vans in Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru, with 9-11 passenger configurations targeting corporate travel, weddings, events and leisure mobility.
Avis India has expanded its premium group mobility portfolio with the launch of customised Force Urbania vans, which will be available in Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru. The chauffeur-driven service is aimed at corporate groups, destination weddings, event organisers and leisure travellers.
The vans are configured to accommodate 9-11 passengers, allowing larger groups to travel in a single vehicle rather than requiring multiple cars. The addition complements Avis India's existing premium people-mover fleet, which includes the Mercedes-Benz V-Class, Toyota Vellfire and Kia Carnival.
Avis India said it owns and operates the Force Urbania fleet, with vehicle maintenance managed by its fleet management department and driving operations handled by professional chauffeurs. The company said this model allows it to oversee vehicle maintenance, chauffeur standards and service delivery.
Force Urbania Gets Customised Interiors And Passenger Amenities
The customised Force Urbania vans feature dual air-conditioning, dedicated rear AC vents across all rows and individual USB charging points. The interiors are configured to provide seating and luggage accommodation for group journeys.
The vehicles are intended for airport transfers, corporate transportation, local travel and longer intercity journeys. Their seating capacity is also expected to address requirements involving multiple passenger pick-up and drop-off points, reducing the need to coordinate separate vehicles.
Avis India Targets Corporate, Wedding And Leisure Travel
The service is positioned for corporate delegations, conventions, business events and group movements. Avis India is also targeting destination weddings and large-scale events, where transportation between airports, hotels and event venues requires coordinated passenger transfers.
For leisure travel, the vans will cater to families and other groups undertaking local and outstation journeys.
Commenting on the launch, Aman Naagar, Managing Director, Avis India, said the company was expanding its group transportation offering in response to demand for coordinated travel across corporate, event and leisure segments. He added that owning and operating the vehicles would give Avis India greater control over fleet maintenance, chauffeur standards and service delivery.
Avis India Offers 24/7 Customer Support For Van Bookings
The service includes reservation confirmation, itinerary management and access to Avis India's 24/7 customer support infrastructure. The company said customers would have a single point of contact for booking assistance, itinerary changes and other travel-related requirements.
The customised Force Urbania vans are available for airport transfers, local travel, corporate movements, events and outstation journeys across Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
