Ducati India has extended its Ducati Protect Periodic Maintenance Contract (PMC) to cover its entire new motorcycle model range in India. The programme, introduced earlier in 2026, covers scheduled maintenance costs, including spare parts, labour and lubricants.

The contract is available exclusively for new Ducati motorcycles and must be activated on the date of motorcycle sale, alongside warranty activation. Motorcycles with an existing or previously activated warranty are not eligible for the programme.

Ducati Protect covers scheduled maintenance carried out by Ducati-trained and certified technicians using genuine spare parts and factory-recommended lubricants. Its pricing accounts for potential increases in service costs over the ownership period.

What Does Ducati Protect Cover?

The maintenance contract covers spare parts, labour charges and lubricants required for periodic servicing. Consumables are excluded from coverage under the programme's terms and conditions.

The package is designed to provide greater predictability in scheduled maintenance expenditure by allowing owners to secure maintenance costs upfront. Ducati says the contract can also be transferred to a subsequent owner if the motorcycle is sold, with the authorised dealer's documented service history forming part of the ownership record.

The programme applies to all road-legal Ducati motorcycle models offered for sale in India. Pricing and model-specific applicability are available through authorised Ducati dealerships.

Bipul Chandra, managing director of Ducati India, said the expansion makes the maintenance programme available across the company's new model range, with servicing carried out by Ducati-certified technicians using genuine parts.
